I work from my studio on the Dorset coast in England producing paintings of the surrounding scenery. The dramatic landscape of the Isle of Purbeck, the sailing boats, beach huts and the sea have inspired a cycle of designs which I hope are uplifting, light and airy. On a technical note, I tend to work in alkyd paint which combines the advantages of oil paints with the quick drying advantage of acrylic paints.
