The inspiration for this series of paintings was born while sitting and staring at a blank sheet of paper. I tore a small hole and peeled back the tattered edge. As I looked through the hole, I envisioned scenes of endless possibilties. I quickly transferred my thoughts to canvas, applied rich color and ''chiarno scurro" effects to portray mood and drama. Thus, began this series entitled "Torn Realities "
