Boats are one of my favorite things to paint. I love the water and taking photos while canoeing, sailing, etc. The vantage point is somewhat different. Water's reflections are a challenge but I am attracted to painting scenery with both. Marine life living close to the Pacific Ocean is always fun to paint. We are blessed with lakes, streams, and rivers in the Pacific Northwest and I love to combine a little abstract background to what Nature shows me.
