i began shooting found art in new york city in 2005. in awe of the abundance of truly spectacular art covering my neighborhood as well as across the river in brooklyn, i became enamoured with the fleeting nature of these masterpieces. there one day and gone the next, i began to record much of what i saw. there is something poetic about the impermanence of the art itself and also something defiant in my desire to preserve it.
today i live in austria and continue to see beauty in the details shooting grafetti and found art in austria, germany, switzerland and wherever i go.
