This series of work is based on a character I developed named Ruby. There are twelve incarnations of Ruby broken into 4 subcatagories: Places, activities, relationships and internal explorations. My desire was to flesh out an autobiographical narrative using an alter-ego (Ruby) to convey many different moods, experiences and challenges in life. I enjoy communicating with an audience through visual storytelling and giving them a voice in how they perceive the images, creating a dialog between the viewer, Ruby and myself.
