The Navajo Indian from Southwestern USA created jewelry from Turqouise and silver. One of the traditional designs was the Squash Blossom Necklace. Examples of these can be founf on-line. Original collector items can be as high as $10,000 and have pounds of turquoise and silver. It is an acquired taste but I find the colors both soothing and stimulating at the same time. Like chocolate pepermint ice cream.
